of Fashion Design offers comprehensive entrance coaching
for NIFT/NID/CEED entrance exams. The entrance tests for
these courses are held during the months of January and
February. These tests are very competitive, demanding a
high degree of creative skills and lateral intelligence.
With
over 35,000 candidates appearing for these entrance exams,
one requires help in honing one’s creative abilities.
Our conventional educational system, at under graduate level,
benefits only the students who wish to go in for conventional
careers. AFD has been launched to fill this gap and to help
students prepare their skills for the entrance examination
of premier design institutes such as NIFT and NID.
AFD’s
programs are ideal for students in the 10th and 11th standard,
who wish to apply for design courses. They can utilize these
years fruitfully before embarking on the heavily demanding
studies of the 12th standard.
AFD
offers both postal and classroom courses for 10th, 11th,
and 12th standard students who wish to apply for NIFT/NID/CEED
exams. AFD also prepares students for entrance examinations
of Pearl Academy of Fashion - New Delhi, Shristi School
of Design - Banglore, Symboisis School of Design - Pune
, School of Fashion Technology - Pune, Apeejay Insititute
of Design - New Delhi, J.J. School of Arts – Mumbai
as well as many other art and design colleges in the country.
For
those qualifying for the second round of NIFT and NID entrance
exams, which includes a studio test and a situation test,
AFD also offers an Interview Guidance Package (IGP) consisting
of practice kits and design briefs similar to actual Studio
tests of previous years. AFD will also help students with
preparing their portfolio and interview skills in a special
IGP workshop in selected metros.
