Indian Institute of Craft and Design (IICD) is a unique institution that is synergizing traditional knowledge and skills with contemporary needs to evolve methodologies that are relevant to modern India. Education in IICD is a hands-on experience that seeks to equip students with a thorough understanding of materials, technologies, skills and concepts along with exposure to the diversity of Indian culture. Training and Outreach Programs are conducted at the grass root level with artisans, self-help groups and non-governmental organizations. These are multi-disciplinary in approach and are designed to add value to agencies working in craft development and promotion as well as to provide a platform for students to directly interact with craft communities.

Application form can be downloaded from this page and sent back duly filled in at our Academy by post/courier along with a Demand Draft of Rs.600/-. The applicant will receive prospectus by courier within one week. The Prospectus & Application form can also be procured in person from the Academy on the payment of Rs.550/- cash.
