Dear
student,
Hope
your NID exams went off well. We would like to hear about your
experiences of the exam…. What were the easiest sections….
Which were the questions which stumped you?
Your feedback on how to improve the AFD package and coaching programs
are most welcome.
It’s
time to look into the second round of exams--- the Studio Test
(NID) & the Situation Test (NIFT).
These
tests give the examiner an insight into how well you can visualize
an idea and translate it into a working model. The candidate requires
to have dexterity and the ability to work with different materials.
At
the IGP workshop, we go over previously asked Studio Test/ Situation
Test questions. We aim to expose students to all likely materials
they need to work on, and give them tips on how to handle these
materials.
The
workshop will also include sessions on Interview Guidance and
Picture Analysis.
All
material will be provided by AFD. The students are required to
bring along, basic tools like scale, pencil, scissors, cello tape,
glue, eraser, sharpener, a small drawing pad.
All
those interested in guidance with their portfolio, should bring
along, a compilation of their best works.
Lastly,
let me wish the very best to all those attempting the NIFT first
round of written exams.
Work
HARD and remember to relax before the exam. Only a relaxed mind
can be creative.
Warm
Regards,
Personal Tutor.
