NID Entrance Test 2008 - A review

As usual, students were subjected to a lengthy test paper at both PG and UG levels. Many students felt a sense of "I could have done better if I had more time..."

The question papers were interesting and held no hidden surprises. Besides drawing skills. sense of proportion, NID clearly expects students to be aware of the world around them, observe and have an eye for detail. It's not enough to just draw well, one needs to possess an intense curiosity about life and its various manifestations.

  NID Results 2008
You may expect NID to declare the short listed candidates, around Mid of March 2008.

The second round of tests (Studio Tests) would be conducted between April 24th and May 15th.


  AFD WORKSHOP FOR STUDIO TEST / SITUATION TEST 2008


5 day Workshop for Studio Test / Situation test will be conducted by AFD at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Lucknow.
The workshop will be held together for NID UG/ NID PG and NIFT UG Students.

The classes will consist of a series of design briefs, in acordance with the pattern of questions asked at NIFT and NID. Students will execute these briefs in class, under the supervision of the faculty. The design briefs will be seperate for all three categories of students.

Besides 3-D Modeling, students appearing for NID Test, will also be exposed to Audio / Visual Tests, Doodling, Mock Interviews and Portfolio presentation. You may enroll yourself with shreja@afdindia.com
