NID Results 2026

Congratulations to all aspiring designers! The National Institute of Design (NID) Prelims and Mains entrance exam results and scorecards for the 2026-27 academic session shall be published here. Candidates can access their individual scores and check their qualification status directly with us.

The National Institute of Design (NID) conducts the annual Design Aptitude Test (DAT) to select candidates for its prestigious B.Des and M.Des programs nationwide. The admission process requires candidates to pass both DAT Prelims and DAT Mains. While a candidate must be shortlisted from DAT Prelims to advance, the score from this first stage is not factored into the final admission weightage. Importantly, simply appearing for DAT Prelims or being shortlisted for the second stage does not guarantee automatic admission. The number of candidates shortlisted will be 4.5 times the number of open seats in each category.

How to Check the NID Result 2026?

To view the NID DAT 2026 results, you can follow these steps:

• Go to the Official Website: Head over to admissions.nid.edu.
• Find the Result Link: Look for the link labeled "NID DAT Result 2026" and click on it.
• Enter Login Credentials: Provide your registered email ID along with your date of birth.
• Submit Information: Hit the 'Submit' tab.
• Finally, View and Download: Your result will appear on the screen. Make sure to download as well as print the scorecard for future use.

Ensure that all the information provided is thoroughly reviewed for accuracy.

Procedure to Recheck DAT Prelims

For in-depth walkthroughs:

1. Visit the Official NID Website.
2. Login to Your Account: Fill in your user ID and password.
3. Go to the Rechecking Section: Locate the rechecking request form and access it.
4. Fill out the form: Submit the details as it is requested on the form. Remember to fill out all of the necessary details.
5. Make Payment: Pay the rechecking fee according to the provided guidelines.
6. Submit and Save: Allow the confirmation receipt to be printed and ensure you keep it in a safe place.

Note: Rechecking is limited to verifying the totalling of marks and ensuring all answers are evaluated. Detailed re-evaluation of answers is not permitted.
